New design for Coffee Shop.

I have now started to look at other design ideas, and continue to create them, so far this design is my favourite because I like the “retro” look and the colour tones. I feel that pastel colours go nicely together and I like how it’s starting to build into a realistic Bauhaus Cafe.

To progress on my idea I elongated the height of the building  and added more panels to make the building look more stable. I’ve also added a roof onto my building, which I think has made my design come together nicely, by doing this it caused my whole design to be shaded so I also added lighting to brighten up the shop, inside and out.

Next I want to add a path way to my Cafe and also create walls surrounding it, also adding a plain flooring. I think this will make my work come together nicely. Last of all I will add the furniture, e.g. chairs, tables, coffee machine.

 

I really like the way my Cafe is turning out, I have incorporated Bauhaus style furniture and colours. By adding more texture and furniture, this helps my work stand out and look more realistic, I love how my work has come along because I think it’s appealing and look inviting on the outside.

 

Start on Cafe, first design. (3ds)

I have now started to use 3ds to create my cafe in mind. I’m playing around with ideas and seeing what works with my style of my ideal Cafe. With help, I have created this first design and concept of  how I want my Coffee shop to be set up like. I have made separate path ways for customers to come and go when needed, one side for people who want coffee to go and the other for people whom plan to stay in the cafe garden.

  

To create the grass I went onto Google Images and searched Grass texture tiled, using one of the images I was able to adjust the image to exactly how I wanted it, so it would look realistic. Next I will start to look at other textures and concepts and add them to my work bit by bit. I want to start off by adding texture to the buildings, such as coloured bricks, causing the Cafe to stand out which will relate in with the Bauhaus theme.

Menu.

I have now started to look into creating a Cafe menu on Photoshop. Firstly I started off by just writing out a simple menu, to then later on think about the colour scheme and design. This is what I came up with at first.

After creating a simple design I thought about adding small details to add to the Bauhaus style, such as shapes and bold colours. To start it off I incorporated one of my logo designs in the corner, within this design I had random rectangles and shapes to make it more look interesting. Then I progressed in my menu design by adding these shapes through out, to make it stand out a little more. I still thought this was a little simple so I added random streaks in the shapes to give it something extra, these are the deigns I came up with.

 

I have now started to look at different design concepts for the menu, I have gone with these bold colours so that the menu stands out. Later on adding the shapes, to again incorporate my logo design into it, I like this design because of the simplistic colours and shapes.
